ten months

Ten months old kid? You will be ONE in just a couple of months. It's hard to believe how fast time really does fly. Everyone tells you, but you don't quite understand what they mean until it happens to you, right in front of your face. You are just more and more awesome every single day, and it's insane to watch.

You are trying (still) to walk, but you can wait a little longer if you want. I'm not sure I'm ready to see you, the little baby toddling around like a...well, toddler! However, you have become a pro crawler, and it's so fun to watch you boogie through the house like you own the joint. There's a certain sass behind the way you crawl, boy are we in for it when you walk! You are so confident and proud, just as you should be.

You are still babbling things like "mama", "dada", & "bath". Sometimes I think I hear you saying "raff", as in giraffe, and you seem to be able to say "up" but it's more like "bup". Your voice is a tiny bit scratchy and it's the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

You now have THREE teeth! Two on the bottom, one on top. It looks as though you may get the second one on top here soon, hang in there sweet girl. Teething hasn't been the best for you, but you are honestly handling it like a warrior.

Crying has never really been your choice of communication, and that still rings true today. You have discovered that you can cry if you want, loudly, but will stop as soon as someone glances at you. It's pretty funny, and so cool that you are playing with options, experimenting and testing to see what action causes what result. I think it's fun to watch you discover your voice more and more. Your voice will be one of your most powerful assets little lady, in many shapes and forms. Remember that.

I can't wait to see what month 1O brings! Will you walk? Will you learn colors? Will you all of a sudden hate the bath you love so much? Who knows! You are amazing. All of our love.
