Fall, Season of Inspiration & Goals

Monday evening marks the official first day of fall, and I am so very excited. This season is the most magical of all the seasons. There is something inspirational about the coolness in the air and the array of warm colors all around. I love that the trees are shedding to begin anew in spring. Shedding their summer skin to start over again. Isn't that neat? I think so!
With that, I feel it's time to make some sort of fall bucket list. A list of things I would like to accomplish before...let's say Thanksgiving! It's time to shed my summer skin and prepare for a new year. If the trees need this long to prepare, I sure as hell do too! Here's a starter list;
1. For starters, I need to blog at least once a day. I am enjoying this blog. Although it's in it's beginning stages and I'm still just figuring it out, I really like it. It's a place to put my thoughts and that's a lovely feeling.
2. This room I'm in, where our computer sits, has become the catch-all room, and really needs to be loved on. This room needs it's purpose given to it.
3. I want to teach myself how to sew. I have't taught myself a new skill in a long time. Unless you count motherhood, in which case I will never be done learning!
4. Conquer an intimidating receipe or two or three...maybe bake something! Now that's a scary thought.
5. Take more pictures! Not just iPhone photos, although it's the most handy way to get you memories captured. I mean, picking up my camera more. This calls for a weekly nature walk with Olivia! I like that idea....
6. Continue to be a strong support system for my Fuzzy family. I have to ask myself sometimes if I'm giving 100% of myself everyday.
7. Pick a book and read it. The whole thing. THE WHOLE THING!
8. Get off of my phone more often. I use the damn thing for everything....wasn't I going to read some book? What's a book?
9. Take a trip. We will be heading to East TN soon, so that one I can cross off, but not until we've returned! I can't wait to share that trip. It's one that's especially important to me and my soul.
10. Make time for friends. Even if it's dinner at my house - which I don't mind one bit! Friends are so important and sometimes you don't realize how important until you don't have them anymore.
Ten things to get done. I think that's attainable! Of course everyday I am trying to be a better momma, wife, and just person in general. There are so many things I could do better on a daily basis, and that list is an internal one that I am constantly chipping away at. Will I ever be done? Probably not, because you can always be a better, and I'm alright with that.
Happy Fall Loves!
& Happy Listing!
