Local Beaches

One great things about moving to a new area is finding new things to do close by. The weather is just starting to finally be bearable to be outdoors for more than an hour at a time, so the mister and I decided to head down to Anderson Beach right off of the lake near our house. I think it's actually only 3 miles away, which is great! It was Sunday, so it was slightly scattered with families for birthday parties and after church groups, but nothing that wasn't tolerable.

Olivia has only been swimming once, and she was 4 months and the water was kind of cold, so we thought it would be fun to let her splash and play in the warmer water and watch the waves come to and fro. It was more fun than we could have imagined. I got a nice sunburn, Talon got the vitamin D he had been craving all summer, and Olivia got to spend a good hour or so kicking and splashing. Needless to say, we will be returning next summer!
